2 Refreshing Summer Cocktail Recipes

It is the middle of the summer and the heats are still quite unbearable. So, if you want to refresh yourself and have the energy to go through the rest of the season, then you may try some delicious cocktails recipes to help you do the job.

Today we have prepared for you 2 cocktail recipes which you can try on your own at home. They are a perfect way to add some sweetness to your day and to refresh yourself.

Mango & Kiwi Sangria

The first recipe is a summer alternative to the traditional sangria. If you like mango and kiwi, then you will like this recipe as well.


3 small mangos
3 kiwis
2 cups of pineapple juice
1 cup of soda water
1 cup of coconut rum
750 milliliters of white wine


First, you need to peel the mangos and after that to cut them into cubes. When you are ready with this, you need to get a jug which is big enough for all the ingredients to be put inside. Then put the mango pieces into the jug.

Now, you need to peel the kiwis and cut them into pieces, but this time slice them. Then add the kiwis into the jug. After that pour the cup of coconut rum inside and make sure you pour it evenly.

Then put the jug in the fridge for an hour to chill. This way the fruits will absorb the rum and have the same smell.

When you remove the jug from the fridge, add the white wine, the pineapple juice and the soda water into the jug. Stir everything well. And you are almost done.

The last thing you need to do is to add some ice in the glasses you have prepared for the cocktails and then pour the sangria. Make sure you also add some of the fruits into it. You can decorate the glasses with pieces of kiwi. And you are done!

Orange milkshake

The next recipe is perfect for those of you who love ice-cream and especially milk shakes. You need to have in mind that this recipe also contains alcohol. So, here is what you need to do:


1 orange
8 spoons of vanilla ice-cream
1 can of orange juice concentrate
½ cup of vanilla vodka
¼ cup of orange liqueur


First, you need to wash the orange and slice it, but without removing the peel. Then put it aside and get a blender. Put in it 4 big spoons of the vanilla ice-cream, the orange juice concentrate, the vanilla vodka and the orange liqueur. Blend them all well.

And after that stop to add the rest of the ice-cream – the remaining 4 spoons. Continue blending for some more time until everything is blended perfectly well. When you are through with this you would be almost done.

Step 3
Finally, you need to get milkshake glasses and pour the orange milkshake in them. Decorate them with a couple of orange pieces, the one you sliced in the beginning. If you want you may also add a couple of pieces into the glasses.

You can serve the milkshakes like this, or if you have some cream, you may add it on top so that the glasses look even prettier. Drink the shakes with straws. And this is it!
