In fact, jogging is a very good exercise if you want to get fitter. This is one of the best ways to lose weight by doing a sport because you do not focus on some particular part of the body. And if you want to lose weight from your hips, jogging is quite a good way to do it. If you have the chance to go jogging every day, you should definitely do it, but if not, at least try to go for about 3 times a week to make sure it will have the results you want.
