Halloween is just around the corner with everything that brings together – the sweets, the carving of pumpkins, the endless amounts of scary decorations… If you haven’t picked your costume yet, may we suggest turning yourself into a sexy and dark Goth! As you know, makeup is just one of the features that complete a Gothic look, so don’t fall a victim of really bad eyeshadow.Whether you’re a hopeless romantic or a dark angel, this Gothic makeup is a necessity for achieving uniquevampish artistry.

Step 1: Start filling your eyelids with black pencil. Gently move the eye pencil from the inner corner, through the crease line and towards the outer corner. Leave the middle part of your eyelid untouched for now as this will be a base for your silver eyeshadow.

Step 2: Set the pencil with black shadow. Use a nice smudging brush to blend the colour across your lid.

Step 3: Apply enough shimmery white shadow just in the centre of your eyelid.

Step 4: With the help of your blending brush, carefully smooth the white shadow in the crease of your eye. Hold the tip of the handle and swirl in circular motions for a soft, blended look.

Step 5: Line your eyes with liquid eyeliner and wing the line out. As for the lower lash line, create a double liner effect. First, line the waterlineall the way to the inner corner of the eye. Second, draw parallel lines outwards from the waterline creating slightly upturned flicks. For a more dramatic look, fill in the spaces between lines with the white pencil.

Step 6: Dip a damp fluffy eyeshadow brush into silver glitter and use the brush to pat the colour onto your closed lid. Brush off any shadow that has fallen to your face with a cotton swab. As a final touch to your amazing gothic makeup, add several coats of your long-lasting mascara. Happy and spooky Halloween!
