As we all know, every country has its traditional dishes. But some of them are so delicious and universal that they appeal to people from all over the world. Such ones are hamburgers, pasta, and pizza.

They have become so popular that one could find them in every country in the world. The specific thing is that the national cuisine of the country has also affected these non-traditional dishes. Usually some local ingredient is added as well.

Today we decided to show you a couple of recipes of the same dish and how it is made in different countries. And this is burgers. If you like them, then you will probably be glad to learn a recipe or two how to make them on your own at home.

#1 Mexican Burger

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef
1/3 pound of chorizo
manchego cheese
1 cup of guacamole
½ cup of cotija cheese
1 cup of pico de gallo
sour cream
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of salt
hamburger buns

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to put the ground beef in a big bowl and to season it with the salt and the chili powder. Mix the ground beef well so the seasoning becomes evenly distributed. Then add the chorizo and mix the ingredients well so it becomes a homogeneous mixture.

Step 2

Once the ground beef mixture is ready, you need to cook it. Get a handful of it and create a meatball of it. Make it nice and round to match the size and shape of the burger buns you have. Then heat some oil in a pan. Stir fry the meatball on one side until it turns golden-brownish.

Then flip it over to stir-fry the other side. Once you do this, put a piece of manchego cheese on top of the already stir-fried side of the meatball. This way it will slightly melt and will become even more delicious. When the second side gets nicely stir-fried as well, remove the meatball from the pan.

Step 3

The last thing you need to do is to put together the pieces of the hamburger. Slice the bun in halves. You could also toast the inside sides of the bun a little to become more crispy. Then put the cooked meatball on the bottom bun half.

Apply a spoonful of guacamole on top of it. The sprinkle some cotija cheese. Then add a spoonful of pico de gallo. Finally, apply some sour cream on top, and “close” the burger the top bun half.

And voila! The Mexican burger is done!

#2 Japanese Burger

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef
½ onion
½ cup of panko bread crumbs
1 egg
1 cup of beef gravy
rice buns
½ cup of green onions
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to put the ground beef in a big bowl. Then chop the half onion and add it into the bowl with the ground beef. Then add the panko bread crumbs, the egg, and season them all with the salt and pepper. Then you need to mix everything well so it becomes a homogeneous mixture and it is evenly seasoned.

Step 2

Then heat some oil in a pan. Get a handful of the ground beef mixture and make a meatball of it which needs to be as big and round as the rice buns. Then stir-fry it on each side until it turns dark brownish. Then do the same with the rest of the mixture.

Step 3

Then you need to get a rice bun and cut it in two horizontal halves. Put a cooked meatball on the bottom half bun and apply on top of it a spoonful of the beef gravy. On top of it you could put a poached egg on top. Finally, sprinkle some chopped green onions on top of it and put the top half of the bun back. And the Japanese burger is ready!

#3 French Burger

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef
comte cheese
buns
1 cup of mustard
1 cup of caramelized onions
½ cup of arugula
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to season the ground beef with the salt and pepper and then mix it well so it becomes evenly seasoned.

Step 2

Then heat some oil in a pan. Get a handful of the ground beef mixture and make a meatball of it which needs to be as big and round as the rice buns. Then stir-fry it on one side until it turns dark brownish. Then flip it to stir-fry the other side.

Put a piece of comte cheese on top of the already cooked side of the meatball to melt. When the second side of the meatball is cooked, take it out of the pan. Then do the same with the rest of the mixture.

Step 3

Cut the buns in halves. Put a cooked meatball on the bottom half and apple some mustard on the inside part of the top bun half. Apply a spoonful of caramelized onions on top of the meatball and then put some arugula pieces on top of it. Put the top bun half on top of it. And you are done!
