Burrito Recipes with Eggs

Nowadays there are a lot of unusual recipes which a person can try out at home. There are some traditional recipes which are modernized, or there are people who like to experiment and add new ingredients or replace others.

Today we are going to show you a couple of such recipes. If you like burritos, but you are on a diet, you would be glad to know that there is another ingredient which you can substitute the dough with. And this is eggs. Here are a couple of burrito recipes with eggs!

#1 Egg burrito with bacon

Ingredients:

A handful of cheddar cheese
a handful of sausage
3 slices of baked bacon
2 eggs
½ tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of parmesan
a couple of pinches of salt

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to get the eggs and to put them in a bowl. Add the pinches of salt and whisk them a little. Then add the tablespoon of parmesan and continue whisking the eggs with the parmesan until they are completely whisked.

Step 2

The next thing you need to do is to get a pan and heat the butter in it. Let it melt completely and try to cover the whole area of the pan. Then pour the whisked eggs with the parmesan and spread it evenly on the surface of the pan.

Step 3

In a couple of seconds you can get the cheddar cheese and spread it in the center of the whisked eggs. Then put the sausage on top. You need to cut it into small pieces beforehand. Finally put the baked pieces of bacon on top of the sausage pieces.

Step 4

In a minute or so the egg burrito will be ready. Take it off the pan being careful not to scatter the pieces of meat on top. Put the burrito in a plate and then wrap it with the stuffing inside. And voila, the burrito is ready to be served. You can add some chili peppers as a side dish.

#2 Southwestern Burrito

Ingredients:

2 eggs
a handful of cheddar
1 tablespoon of parmesan
a couple of pinches of salt
½ tablespoon of butter
1 bowl of black beans
½ bowl of marinated onions and peppers
½ avocado

Directions:

Step 1

The first step is like the one from the previous recipe. You need to whisk the eggs with the pinches of salt and the parmesan in a bowl. Then heat the pan and add the butter. Spread it evenly on the surface of it. Pour the egg whisk in the pan and spread it evenly on the surface.

Step 1

Then you need to add the handful of cheddar cheese on top of the whisked egg mixture focusing on the center of it. The next thing you need to do is to add the black beans on top of the cheddar cheese and after that the marinated onions and peppers. You need to cut them into small pieces beforehand.

Step 3

Once you are ready with this you need to put the lid on the pan and cook it for 3 minutes. Meanwhile you can peel the avocado and cut it into three long pieces.  After the three minutes have passed, you can take the lid off. Put the avocado pieces on top of the marinated onions and peppers.

Step 4

Then you can slide the egg burrito from the pan into a plate. Wrap the burrito with the stuffing inside. And voila, you are ready! You can add other ingredients if you prefer, or remove some which you do not like that much.
