There are a lot of people who think that Halloween is a holiday most suitable for children since they are the ones who go trick or treating. However, there are a lot of grownups who like the holiday as well. It gives them the opportunity to dress like somebody else and to have a really fun party. And there is one more reason that ladies in particular like the holiday – because of all the fashion inspirations.

There are more and more trends that come up which are inspired by this holiday and today we are going to show you some of these inspirations. We have prepared for you some Halloween-inspired manicure ideas that will really put you in the mood of the holiday. Here they are!

#1 Black Cat Manicure

Black cats are a symbol of the holiday since they are considered to bring bad luck in some cultures and they are often considered to be witches’ pets. So, it is no wonder why some of the most popular Halloween manicure ideas will include black cats. The manicure idea we are going to show you is not that difficult to try so it is perfect for beginners.

What you need to do is to do your manicure the way you would do a French one, but instead of using white nail polish for the tip of the nail, apply black one. Once you are done with this let your nails dry before you move on to drawing the cat.

Step 2

What you need to do is focus your attention on the ring finger. Draw a cat’s head by making the black crescent twice as bigger than the black on the other nails. Then draw two black triangles on top of the head for ears. Let the nail polish dry.

Step 3

Then draw two horizontal sharp ovals for the eyes of the cat with white nail polish. And finally, add some green irises in the center of the white ovals. And the head of the cat is done.

Step 4

The next thing you need to do is to draw a cat’s tail on your pinky finger. The only thing you need to do is to start drawing the tail, again in black, from the tip of the nail where the black nail polish is. Twist it a little bit as if you are drawing the outlines of a half heart.

And once this is ready, your black cat manicure is done!

#2 Jack O’ Lantern Manicure

The next manicure idea includes another very big Halloween symbol – Jack o’ Lantern. If you have some black and orange nail polish, you could easily try this manicure for Halloween.

Step 1

First, you need to apply base coat on your nails. Then apply manicure strips on your nails, except on your ring finger, to do a kind of French manicure. Pain the tip of your nails in orange. Then let it dry completely before moving on to the next step. And another important thing – do not remove the strips.

Step 2

Use a toothpick or a tin manicure drawing tool to draw stitches on your nails. Use the black nail polish. Since the manicure strips will be still on your nails, you will use them as a prop to outline the end of the orange-colored tip of your nail with black. Let it dry completely before removing the strips.

Step 3

Lastly, you need to finish with doing the stitches by drawing short black lines square to the first black line you did. Do 4-5 ones a nail.

Step 4

The next thing you need to do is to turn your attention to your ring finger which needs to have only base coat. Pain the whole of it in the same orange nail polish. Let it dry and then use the black nail polish to draw two triangles for the eyes of Jack o’ Lantern. And finally draw a thick curved black line for a mouth.

#3 Blood drips

The blood drips manicure is probably the easiest one to do even if it does not seem like that at first. And it is perfect for Halloween.

Step 1

First you need to apply a base coat. If you want you can paint your nails in some nude or neutral nail polish, or you can leave them just with the base coat. This is up to you.

Step 2

Now you will need a dotting art tool or something similar to it to make the drips. Draw the very tip of your nail in red nail polish.

Step 3

Then draw the drips beginning from the already-colored tip of your nail and drawing a line downwards. Without reaching the cuticles end the drip with a slightly rounded and big end. And the first drip is ready. Do as much drips as you want on your nails.

Enjoy your manicure and have a happy Halloween!
