This tutorial will show you how to achieve the magnificent cut crease eye effect using just enough glitter to make you sparkle!

Step 1: Begin by creating the cut crease using a thin brush dipped in intense black shadow. Keep your eyes open when applying the crease shade, as this will help you recreate the illusion of a crease with ease. Start from the outer corner of your lid, follow the crease line and stop somewhere in the middle. Do not exceed the line all the way to the inner corner itself. After applying your crease eyeshadow, use a soft brush to dab a white creamy shadow right beneath the arch of you eyebrow. This way you will highlight your brow bone.

Step 2: Then, blend this black cut crease line upwards and out to diffuse the colour towards the brow. Add more black shadow if needed. It is best to choose a nice creamy formula as it will help in easy blending the product afterwards.

Step 3: Take a nice and soft makeup brush and add another colour to the cut crease. For this tutorial, we have used intense blue shadow to highlight the eyes and the smoky effect even more. Distribute the colour slightly outside the black lines. Messiness isn’t an issue here, but make sure that you blend the colour nicely so there are no harsh lines or edges.

Step 4: Add another colour such as peachy just above the blue shadow. Make sure each colour is blended into the next.

Step 5: Now it’s time to add the glitter! Keeping the glitter underneath the crease is important to achieve this cut crease effect. Dip a damp fluffy eyeshadow brush into silver glitter and dab the color on your eyelid. To reduce the chances of glitter falling onto your cheeks, lean your head towards a mirror to allow a more favorable angle to apply the shadow.

Step 6: Finally, add your favorite false eyelashes. Use tweezers to place the strip on your eyelid, positioning it as close as possible to your natural lashes. As a final touch, coat top and bottom lashes with waterproof mascara. This will also help in blending your natural lashes with the false ones. You can even try mascara that contains a little bit of sparkle!
