There are a lot of people who like cooking and they also like to experiment and cook different meals. This is great because if one cooks only a couple of meals, they are likely to get bored with them soon and to stop cooking. And if one likes cooking, then they should continue doing it.
Today we have prepared for you a couple interesting loaf recipes to cook on your own. The reason why they are interesting is because they contain much more ingredients than simply dough. If you are already curious to find out what these are, then check out the recipes.
#1 Meatball ring
1 pound ground beef
¼ cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of parsley
½ tablespoon of salt
½ tablespoon of black pepper
1 pizza dough
½ cup of marinara sauce
½ cup of Parmesan
For the topping:
¼ cup of melted butter
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of parsley
2 tablespoons of Parmesan
First, you need to get a big bowl and to put the ground beef in it. Then pour the bread crumbs on top of it and add the egg and 2 tablespoons of parsley. Season the ingredients with ½ tablespoon of salt and ½ tablespoon of black pepper. Mix them well until the mixture turns into a homogeneous one. You can also use your hands for the purpose.
Once your meatball mixture is ready, you need to make the meatballs and to cook them. Get a handful of the ground beef mixture and roll it into a ball. Do the same with the rest of the mixture. Then get a pan and heat some oil in it. Stir-fry the meat balls until they turn brownish on each side. Do not forget to flip them. When they are ready, move them from the pan to a bowl and move on to the next step of the cooking.
Now get a piece of the pizza dough and spread it onto the table. Make sure it is relatively flat. Then Get a spoonful of marinara sauce and spread it in the center of the piece of dough. Then sprinkle some Parmesan on top of it and then put a meatball in the center. Close the stuffing inside the dough making a ball of it. Do the same rest with rest of the meatballs and dough.
Get a deep pan and spread some oil on the bottom of it and the sides. Do this if it is not stick-free. Then put the dough balls inside it. Make sure the pan is big enough to hold all the balls without putting them too close to one another.
The next thing you need to do is to get a small bowl and mix the butter, the garlic, the parsley, and the Parmesan, all the ingredients for the topping. You need to chop the garlic and the parsley beforehand. Mix them well and apply the mixture on top of the dough balls using a cooking brush. Spread the topping evenly on each one of the balls.
The last step is to cook the loaf. Bake it for 20 minutes at 180 0C. When the loaf is ready, you can serve it with marinara sauce to dip the loaf in it. And this is it!
Chicken and Garlic Loaf
1 pizza dough
3 cups of cooked chicken meat
1 jar of pesto
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons of melted butter
3 chopped garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
First you need to get the pizza dough and to cut it into halves. Then cut the halves into two other halve. And lastly cut into the 4 pieces of dough. Roll each one to create a ball. Then, when you have 8 dough balls, get a tin and put the balls in it. Put them one next to the other on two rows. If your baking tin is not stick-free, you may use some baking paper to line it with, or you could use some cooking oil to spread the bottom of the tin with.
Before you bake the dough balls, though, you need to put them to rest for about 10 minutes. Cover them with a towel as well. This way they become a bit larger. Then bake the dough for 12 minutes at 200 0C.
When you get the tin out of the oven, you can leave it for some time to cool down. Then get the baked dough out of the tin and cut it into halves horizontally. You need to cut it the way you would if you were about to cut a bun for a burger. This is important to do. Then put the bottom part of the baked dough into the same tin.
Get the cooked chicken and cut it into small pieces. Sprinkle it on top of the bottom part of the baked dough. Then add pesto on top of the cooked chicken and spread it evenly as well. And then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top. Put the other part of the “bun” on top.
Then you need to create the topping for the loaf. Get a small bowl and pour in it the melted butter. Add in it the chopped garlic and the chopped parsley and mix them well. Apply the topping on top of the loaf evenly using a cooking brush.
Bake it for 10 minutes at 180 0C. Once the loaf is baked, you need to serve it by tearing it into the balls you created in step 1. And this is it.
