Which are some of the most common reasons for yellow teeth?

As you can imagine, the reason for the yellow color of one’s teeth are the foods they consume. And most of the times, these foods do not only change the color of the teeth, but are not at all good for a person’s health. The first thing on our list is, of course, the cigarettes. This extremely bad habit has both beauty and health consequences. So, just quit smoking as soon as possible.
The next thing on this blacklist are the drinks, like red wine, soft drinks and coffee. They are quite delicious and some people just cannot go through the day without a cup of coffee, or a glass of red wine at the end of the day. What you can do is to try to cut them down a little.
You should also do not forget that sweets, are not so sweet when we talk about the health of our teeth, not only their color. Make sure you brush your teeth every time you eat something sweet.

The best thing about this method is that you would not have to spend a lot of money on special procedures when you go to the dentist. You will not have to arrange some special hour for it, but you can do it whenever you have time and when you are in the mood to do it. The other thing that is quite good about this method is that the things you need are not so special. You can find them in every store or even better, they may be even in your kitchen already.

You will need:
Baking soda
Lemon or lime juice, or if you prefer, you can do it just with water

Mix the two things together well, until it turns into pasta. You will not need much of it, just about half a glass of the paste will be enough for your teeth. But if you happen to make too much of the pasta, just put it in the fridge and use it the next time you want to repeat the procedure. Apply some of the paste on your teeth. Leave it this way for some and then rinse with water. Repeat the procedure the next day.

It is recommended to apply the paste on your teeth every day for at least  a week. When this time passes, look at your teeth. There should be a visible difference between the color you have now and before. You can even take a picture of your teeth before and after to make sure that there is a result.

Baking soda is very popular not only with teeth whitening, but with every other type of whitening you can think of. For example, think of silver. All your silver jewelry, like rings, bracelets, necklaces, and others, when it is not used, it turns dark. It loses its sparkle. You can make them white again by cleaning them with soda. Put a couple of teaspoons of soda in a container, fill it with two glasses of water and then put your silver jewelry in it. You can use a toothbrush to clean them, or just leave the silver jewelry in the container for a couple of hours. Then you can get the silver out, and leave it somewhere to get dry. You will notice the difference immediately.

Warning!
The fact that this method is easy should not make you overdo it. As you know, even if white teeth look great, the whitening methods are not so good for their structure. Do not keep the paste on your teeth more than an hour. And not more than several weeks. This could ruin the enamel of your teeth, which will make them weaker and prone to caries formations. After all, white teeth should not lead to broken and aching ones.
