The double bun trend came back with a bang recently. Space buns! They’ve scooped themselves out from the 90s to create this super cute, chic look! If you are eager to know how you can achieve this gorgeous, out of space hairstyle, simply follow the steps below and prepare to be amazed by the final result! It is with a cute combination of double Dutch braids to maximise the final effect even further!

Step 1: Brush through the hair and then create a centre part continuing it down the back of the head. If you want a symmetrical middle parting, draw a line from the centre of the bridge of your nose. Tie off the hair on the left side to keep it out of the way. This way you can work with the rest of your hair for now.

Step 2: Working with the loose section of your hair, divide off a small section of hair at the nape of the neck and split it into three sections. Prepare for Dutch braiding! Before you begin, make sure you have some hair bands around so you can take one whenever you need it! Begin the braid by working up towards the top of the head.

Step 3: When the braid lines up with the top of the ears, you can continue the braid in the traditional French method.

Step 4: Once you are done with the braid, tie it off. Now, combine all the hair from this section, and create a big messy bun.

Step 5: Now, repeat the process on the other side of your head. Let down the hair and start your Dutch braid, working your way upwards.

Step 6: Once you are ready with the braid, create a messy bun on top of the head.

Step 7: Use a clear rubber band to secure the bun tightly.

Step 8: Spray the style with hairspray and smooth down any loose pieces.
