There are a lot of people who love mushrooms, but do not know that this kind of food is not only delicious but also healthy. #1 Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

15 mushrooms
8 ounces of cream cheese
¼ cup of breadcrumbs
¼ cup of parmesan
2 tablespoons of parsley
2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
1 ½ teaspoon of salt
1 ½ teaspoon of pepper

Directions:

Step 1

The first thing you need to do is to get the mushrooms and to separate stalks from the caps. Then chop the stalks very thinly, or as thinly as you can. Then get a pan and add a couple tablespoons of olive oil and heat the mushroom stalks in it.

Step 2

Add the chopped garlic and ½ tablespoon of salt and ½ tablespoon of pepper and mix all the ingredients well. Cook them for about 6-8 minutes at medium heat. When the time is up you will notice that the stalks have shrunk a little.

Step 3

When the stalks are ready, remove the pan from the hot plate. Add the stalks in a bowl and mix them with the 8 ounces of cream cheese. Then add the breadcrumbs, the parmesan, and the parsley. Season the ingredients with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Stir everything well.

Step 4

Now you need to get a baking tin and to lay some baking paper on the bottom. Get the mushroom caps and put them in the tin leaving some space between them.

Step 5

After that get the parmesan mixture and fill each one of the mushroom caps with a spoonful of it. And the last thing you need to do before you put it in the oven is to sprinkle some parmesan on each one.

Step 6

Bake the mushrooms for 20 minutes at 175 0C. When the time is up, remove the tin from the oven. Serve the mushrooms while they are still warm and garnish them with some fresh parsley, but this is optional. And then you are ready!

Chicken, Mushroom and Broccoli Specialty

The next recipe would appeal to those of you who like Chinese cuisine even though it does not consists of quite traditional Chinese cuisine ingredients. It is a kind of mixture of west and east tastes. Here it is!

Ingredients:

1 pound of chicken breasts
8 ounces of mushrooms
1 pound of broccoli
1 tablespoon of ginger
3 cloves of garlic
2 teaspoons of sesame oil
1/3 cup of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 cup of chicken broth
¼ cup of flour
olive oil
salt to taste
pepper to taste
cooked rice for garnish

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to cut the chicken breasts in bites. Then get a pan and hear a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and season them with salt and pepper to your taste. Stir them. And cook the breasts for a couple of minutes until they turn slightly brown.

Step 2

Then remove the chicken breasts from the pan without taking it off the hot plate. Add another tablespoon of olive oil in it. After that add the mushrooms and stir them. Cook them for half a minute before you add the broccoli in the pan.

Mix them well and cook them for about a minute or so. When this time is up, remove the mushrooms and the broccoli from the pan without taking it off the hot plate again.

Step 3

Add another tablespoon of olive oil and add the garlic cloves and the ginger. Mix them together. Then add the sesame oil and the soy sauce and again mix the ingredients. After that add the brown sugar and pour the chicken broth in the pan. Finally add the flour and stir all the ingredients well.

Step 4

Cook them for a couple of minutes until the mixture turns into a slightly thick sauce. Continue stirring it and after that add the pieces of chicken breast and the mushrooms and the broccoli. Mix all the ingredients well. Cook it for another couple of minutes still stirring.

Step 5

When the mixture is cooked remove the pan from the hot plate. Serve it garnished with some cooked rice. And you are ready!
