You’ve got the dress, the decor is all set, the vendors are all hired, but one thing’s missing: your hairstyle for the upcoming event. If you haven’t decided yet on the perfect hairdo for today, then you may want to give this easy bun hairstyle for short hair a try! It may look complicated but if you follow the steps one at a time, you will find it totally doable.

Step 1: First, you need to separate your hair into two sections by diving it from the ears up.

Step 2: Work with the bottom part by securing it into a low ponytail.

Step 3: Gently invert this ponytail upside down and pin it at the back of your head using a bobby pin. Make sure it is comfortable for you when you pin it in place.

Step 4: Secure the crown section with a rubber band.

Step 5: Pull some hair pieces from the sides towards the pony.

Step 6: Twist these hair pieces slightly before incorporating them into the pony.

Step 7: Now start to pull the hair together around the top of your crown to form a bun.

Step 8:  Flip back upright and twist the long ponytail piece before curling it around into a doughnut shape on your head.

Step 9: Secure in place with a fun hair band or kirby grips. If you hair is shorter, you may need to use more grips if tendrils come loose at the back of the head.

Step 10: Once you’ve mastered this you can start to personalise your top knot with a fringe or braids by pulling bits of hair out at the sides. You can put an ornament or hair accessory to make the hairstyle more elegant and stylish for your night out with the girls!
