There are a lot of traditional dish recipes which people cook in different ways to add a little new touch to them. Sometimes these recipes are so much changed that it could even seem that the recipe is a whole new one, but still one cannot help but notice the inspiration.
Today we decided to show you a couple of lasagna recipes with a little bit of a new touch to them. If you are willing to experiment, then these two recipes might appeal to you. Check them out!
#1 Chicken Alfredo Lasagna
4-6 chicken breasts
1 package of cooked lasagna
1 cup of bacon
1 cup of mozzarella
2 cups of heavy cream
½ cup of parmesan
¼ cup of chopped parsley
3 cloves of garlic
salt to taste
pepper to taste
yellow cheese (optional)
First you need to season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and even some garlic powder. But first you need to cut the breasts in halves alongside. Then get a pan and heat some cooking oil in it. After the oil is heated enough, stir-fry the chicken breasts by flipping them when they turn brown. Once the chicken breasts are ready, take them off the pan.
Next, using the same pan, fry the garlic. You need to chop it beforehand. Then chop the onion and add it into the pan. Mix them together. In a minute or so add the heavy cream and stir it a little. Bring it to boil and then add the parmesan and the parsley. Stir the mixture. Cook it for a couple more minutes and then take the pan off the hot plate.
Now get s baking tin. Get some of the heavy cream mixture and spread it equally on the bottom of it. Then get a few lasagna layers and put them on top of the mixture on the bottom of the tin. Then add another layer of the heavy cream mixture and spread it on top of the cooked lasagna.
Then get the chicken breasts and put half of them on top of the mixture layer. Add some mozzarella on top of them and then add the bacon. You can use both cooked and raw bacon. You could also sprinkle some chopped fresh parsley on top of the bacon.
Then add another layer of cooked pasta, then layer of the heavy cream mixture, then the other half of the chicken breasts, bacon, and mozzarella on top. If you want, you could also add some yellow cheese on top.
Now you need to bake the dish for 25 minutes at 175 0C. When the time is up, remove the tin off the oven and serve it sprinkled with some fresh parsley.
And this is it!
#2 Beef Lasagna
1 pound of ground beef
1 package lasagna
2 cups of marinara sauce
1 cup of ricotta
2 cup of mozzarella
1 small chopped onion
2 cloves of chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of oil
some fresh basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
First you need to get a deep pan (this is very important) and to heat the oil in it. Add the chopped garlic and the chopped onion when the oil heats. Then add the ground beef and season it with the salt and pepper. Stir it well. Bring it to sizzle by stirring it occasionally.
In a couple of minutes the ground beef should have already turned brownish and then you need to add 1 cup of marinara sauce. Stir it well with the rest of the ingredients.
Now get a couple of lasagna pieces and put them in the pan. You need to put them under the ground beef mixture. Make sure the bottom of the pan is covered with lasagna pieces. Then put lasagnas pieces on top of the beef sauce by covering it completely.
Then put the other cup of marinara sauce on top and spread it evenly. Put the ricotta on top of it and again spread it evenly. Add the cupful of mozzarella on top of it sprinkling it evenly as well. And finally add the fresh basil on top.
Remove the pan from the hot plate and put it in the oven. Bake it for 25 minutes at 180 0C. When the time is up, you need to remove the pan from the oven. Serve the lasagna while it is still warm. If you want, you can keep the basil till the lasagna is ready and then to garnish it with it.
