This must be love at first sight! The low braided bun hairstyle with flowers is here to make you feel even more beautiful than ever before. It could be worn as a bridal or prom hairstyle or for any formal event. Of course, who’s to say it has to be worn anywhere special at all? Switch out the bun for your personal favourite and wear it as an everyday hairstyle!
Step 1: Begin by dividing your hair into two unequal parts and then clip each section with the help of hair clippers.
Step 2: Using a small rubber band, secure the first section on your left side. Tighten it as much as you would like.
Step 3: Take another small rubber band and secure the other section of your hair again towards the left.
Step 4: Start braiding the second section into a traditional three strand brand. Secure the end of the braid with an elastic band. Then gently pull out the French plate at the side to make it thicker. Spray lightly with hair spray to smooth any fly-aways down.
Step 5: Braid the other section the same way, all the way till the end of the strand.
Step 6: Then, loosen the edges of the braid by pulling them apart. This should be able to create more volume.
Step 7: Grab the long braid and roll it up to form a beautiful bun. For best results, start with a small circle and keep wrapping the braid around it. This way you should create a big shaped bun.
Step 8: Next, use bobby pins to secure the braid in place. If you have heavier hair, you may need to use more pins to keep the braid from falling down. Once your braid is pinned, you can loosen the bun for a more relaxed look.
Step 9: Now, grab your flower accessory and pin it around your low bun. Don’t get too hung up on needing them to “match” on each side, because that can be overkill. It undoes some of the stuffiness that formal hairstyles can create.
