We all have some favorite celebrities and we follow their Instagram, Tweeter and Facebook profiles only because you like to get inspired by their outfits, makeup designs and hairstyles.

Today I want to talk about Adriana Lima and one of her catwalk eye makeup designs.

We all know that the color of her eyes is very exotic and bright – mixture between blue, green and gray. This color is great, because almost every makeup design looks great on them.

But now we will concentrate on a simple makeup design, which will flatter the shape of the eye, but this won’t create a smaller-eye effect. Just take a look at the steps and follow them one by one. I promise it is easy:

  • First, you should prepare the lids with a primer. The primer will hold the design right on the lids, no smudges and no gathered products at the crease.

  • If your primer is not tinted, you should apply a base color – some kind of nude shadow, choose the color according to the natural color of your facial skin. Apply this shadow with round fluffy brush. Smudge it nicely and spread it all over the lid.

  • Then apply a winged eyeliner, also known as cat-eye liner. Cover only the outer 1/3 of the lash line with the black color and pay some extra attention on the flick, it has to be flawless. I recommend you to use a flat angled brush for the flick. It will be easier for you to create the flick with this tool.

  • Now, let’s create the smoky effect. You will need dark gray color and round fluffy brush. Create a smoky V shape at the outer corner of the eye.

  • Don’t forget to apply color at the bottom lash line as well.

  • Finish the look with a coat of mascara.

  • Done!
