We are back and we have a brand new hair tutorial on how to do this awesome rubber band headband. Headbands: They are so pretty to wear, but also so hard to do. Is this true? It seems like even the ones that are supposed to be “easy” on Pinterest seem to require some sort of hair sorcery or superhuman hand strength. Well, let’s be honest, this is not always the case when it comes to headbands. These steps will prove you that the super trendy hairstyle can be a piece of cake! Now sit back, relax and enjoy this tutorial!
Step 1: To get started, you need to do a middle part and then section off your halo. Start one side first and clip the extra out of the way. Then, you part the other side and try to keep them even.
Step 2: Now for the fun part, start taking little tiny sections and then putting a rubber band on each one individually.
Step 3: Take the second rubber band ready and take another tiny section. Tie it off with the elastic afterwards.
Step 4: Before you move on any further, you need to separate this middle piece in between the two rubber bands. This will create an awesome shape and texture. Gently pull it apart and tighten it carefully so it doesn’t hurt.
Step 5: Then, you can move on to the next rubber band. Continue down your hairline to create the headband look.
Step 6: Keep going all the way down and keep adding more rubber bands as you go. Remember to gently pull the strands apart to add texture.
Step 7: When you take out the big clip, your hair will just fall down straight, highlighting your headband effect.
Step 8: Following the same process, repeat on the other side of your head. Voila! Your new hairstyle is ready – show it off to the world!
