With so many tutorials on how to apply eyeliner, you’ve probably became a pro at the basics! You can try something different this time, even if you are not doing a smoky eye. If you want to take your makeup skills to the next level, then this tutorial will show you how to apply smudged eyeliner using eyeshadow and eye pencil.
Step 1: Prepare the delicate eye area by applying a small amount of makeup primer. Work the product evenly into your skin so you can get smooth, even coverage. When your primer absorbs completely, use a fluffy brush to apply nude eyeshadow base on your eyelid, all the day to the eyebrow itself.
Step 2: Use black eye pencil to apply a line across your upper lash line with your liquid eyeliner diagonally towards the end of the brow. Start from the middle of your lid, carefully following the tail of the eyebrow.
Step 3: Grab your makeup brush and dip it into black eyeshadow. Then use the brush to gently smudge the colour across the lash line.
Step 4: Hold the tip of the handle and use back and forth motions to softly blend the shadow across your lid.
Step 5: Line the lower lash line with the black pencil. You can line it all the way through – from the beginning to the end, or you can just line ¾ of it starting somewhere in the middle.
Step 6: Now you have to smudge the lower line. You can use the same brush to smudge the color back and forth.
Finally, choose nice mascara which lengthens lashes while enhancing curl and moisturizing. This is a makeup move that is turning heads and shaking up the scene! Apply multiple coats for a buildable, virtually weightless, smudge and flake-proof look!
