Let’s face it, not everyone is blessed with a pair of Barbie’s blue eyes. In fact, having blue-coloured eyes is considered a recessive trait. The best makeup tips for blue eyes are revolved around specific shades that enhance the eye makeup, define the shape of the eyes and make them stand out. Nowadays between Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube we have access to makeup and beauty tips galore, and it’s getting to the point where we almost have too much information coming at us. You don’t need to spend hours in searching for the perfect blue eyes. This is what the tutorial is all about – the 6 top steps to bright blue eyes makeup look!

Step 1: First, cut an inch-long piece of Scotch tape and place it underneath your bottom lashes at the outer corner of your eye and angle it towards the end of your eyebrow. This unconventional beauty aid will help guide you when applying soft eyeshadows.

Step 2: With your Scotch tape in place, grab your stiff dome brush and apply salted caramel shadow to the outer corner of your lid.

Step 3: Use the same brush to apply milk chocolate shadow to the outer and the centre of your eyelid. Then, blend nicely with the brush to smudge the two colours together.

Step 4: The triple fudge shadow should be added again to the outer part of your lid, starting from the end of your lash line and directing the brush towards the tail of your brow. For this step use an angled brush.

Step 5: Dip the brush into the white chocolate shadow and distribute the soft colour to the inner corner of the lid.

Step 6: Then, hold the tip of the handle and swirl in circular motions to softly blend the shadows across your lid.

Remove the tape and proudly reveal your final look. Complete the eye makeup look with 2 to 3 coats of your favourite thickening black mascara. Again, it is better if you use waterproof, long-lasting mascara to intensify the natural richness of your gorgeous eyes.
