Now let’s get started with the basics…

Step 1: Separate the crown section from the rest of your hair.

Step 2: Divide the bottom part into half. Start braiding the first half into a traditional three-strand braid. To start the braid, cross the right piece of hair under the middle, then the left piece under the right to form a braid. Finish the braid and secure with a small clear elastic.

Step 3: Repeat the process for the second half and secure with a small clear elastic.

Step 4: Release the top layer and braid create a Dutch braid, following one side of your head. Angle your braid along your hairline and over the top of your ear. Stop adding in hair when you pass your ear. Finish the braid and secure with a small clear elastic.

Step 5: Amplify your braids by gently pulling at the sides to widen them.

Step 6: Start coiling the second braid into a bun being sure to hide the elastics and securing each braid with plenty more bobby pins. This will make your bun extra voluminous.

Step 7: Then, take the first braid and wrap it around the second to form an even bigger bun.

Step 8: Take the third braid and add the finishing touches. Add a spritz of hairspray to secure.See how easy that is?
