Many women and girls prefer to trim their hair or get a short haircut for summer. But if you love wearing long hair, you don’t need to fret about summer heat! There are lots of summer hairstyles that can take away your hair from your neck and back. In this hair tutorial we’re going to show you how to create the infinity braid which is ideal for the hot days.
Step 1: To begin, gather the hair into a low side ponytail and put a rubber band to secure this section. Then, split the hair in half down the centre. You should be holding one part of the ponytail with your right hand and the other part in your left hand.
Step 2: Similar to a fishtail braid, take a small section of hair from the right side and cross that over the right section that is directly next to it. Essentially an infinity braid is created by wrapping hair around two sections of hair in a horizontal figure 8 pattern.
Step 3: Next, cross the hair under the left section and wrap it around and over the left section. Then take it under and around the right section. Then continue your figure 8 braid, repeating the process above. Once all of the hair is brought into the braid, continue braiding the section a little further down before tying it off with an elastic band.
Step 4: When you reach the desired length of the infinity braid, secure it tightly with a rubber band. Tie the elastic band over the ponytail making sure to include the ends from the wrapped section and this will hold the hair in place. Spray the style with hairspray and smooth down any loose hair pieces. Now you are ready for the summer days with this amazing infinity braid!
