It’s clear – we are about to get really fat during the holidays. Don’t worry the first New Year’s resolution is “Visit the Gym”, so, stay calm and eat cookies.
I searched and tried and “suffered” until I found the three best recipes for cookies to brighten up your day. Take a look:
Cheesecake Cups Cookies
What is more delicious than a cheesecake pie? Cheesecake bites of course. Check out the ingredients that are needed for this absolutely adorable dessert:
2 bars of cream cheese (each 8 oz.)
¾ cup of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 log of sugar cookie dough
1 can of pie filling (cherry, strawberry etc.)
Read the direction on the package of the sugar cookie dough and preheat the oven according to these instructions. Then place cupcake liners in a simple cupcake pan.
Mix together the cream cheese, the sugar, the eggs and the vanilla in a bowl.
Then place small pieces from the cookie dough into the cupcake liners, enough to cover the bottom. Bake them for about 10 minutes, or until a crispy crust is formed.
Right after the pan is out of the oven top two tablespoons of cheesecake mixture in the middle of the crust and place back in the oven for another 20 minutes.
Let them cool down and top them with the fruity filling. Enjoy!
Well, they are not Oreos at all, but they are actually two cookies, stuck together with cream and strawberries. Take a look:
1 package ready to bake sugar cookies
3-4 tablespoons raw sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
¼ cup softened butter
¼ tablespoon vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup light cool whip
2 cups sliced strawberries
½ oz. Bakers semi-sweet chocolate
There are always instructions on the packages of the ready to bake cookies. Read the instructions and bake the cookies according to them. Bake them until the edges of the cookies are slightly brown.
When you remove them from the oven, spritz them with crystal sugar for garnish. Set aside the cookies until they cool down.
Meanwhile you can prepare the “glue”. Mix the butter and the cream cheese until smooth mixture.
Then one by one add the other ingredients. Start with the vanilla. Keep stirring as you add the ingredients. Then add two cups powdered sugar, then comes the turn of the light cool whip and finally add the remaining powdered sugar.
Then put on the cookies some of that mixture and into it order some strawberry pieces. Top it with a second cookie and decorate it with some more of the cream and the strawberries, garnish with grated chocolate.
Serve immediately and enjoy that tasty pleasure!
Crème Brulee Cookies
You will need:
1 package of sugar cookies
½ cup white sugar
A kitchen torch
Again, use the instruction on the back of the package, so you will know how to bake them. Then remove from oven and make a small dent in the cookies with the back of a tablespoon while they are warm.
Fill in the dents with some of the pudding.
Top the cookies with a lot of sugar and then melt it with the torch until crispy sugary crust.
These are my favorite cookies, enjoy and have fun!
