Step 1: Brush your hair into a tight ponytail at the nape of your neck and secure it with elastic.

Step 2: Take your topsy tail and place the loop side up behind the elastic.

Step 3: Gently pull your hair to this side.

Step 4: Loop the string through the base and pull the hair it through. Use your fingers to guide the hair into place.

Step 5: Following the same technique, lift the ponytail up, repeat the looping trick and create a second stitch. Make sure it is a few inches above the previous one. Once you are done, pull the string again.

Step 6: Let the end of your ponytail hang naturally at the back. Soften the hairstyle by pulling a few pieces around your messy hair to make it look more natural.
